Traditionally Gurdzhaani was made in accordance with Kakheti method, but in the end of the XIX century winemakers started to prepare it using European method. Today Gurdzhaani is one of the most popular white wine. Its fresh fruity aroma complements harmonious taste with the notes of melon and apple, and aftertaste adds a pinch of spices. As the majority of white wines, Gurdzhaani is recommended to be served along with poultry.
