On November 16, in Moscow, in the Zurab Tsereteyu gallery on Prechistenka, in the very heart of the capital, a significant event took place – the festival “New Georgia”. The central element of it became the wine salon where various open tastings were held and visitors had the possibility to taste any of the interesting for them wines, to talk with the winemakers and to enrich their knowledge. “New Georgia” is not only brands loved by Russians, such as Kindzmarauli, Khvanchkara, Mukuzani, Tvishi. There are also not well-known varieties like Tavkveri, Mzvane, Kisi, Khikhivi, Tsitska, Tsolikauri.
Among the participants of the festival were «Simple», «Crimea Legends», «Tsereteli Wine and Spirits», «Bagrationi», «Askaneli Brothers», «Khashmi Marani» and many others. And of course one of the central places was occupied by the wines of premium quality «Kartuli Vazi» of the winery «Tiflis Wine Cellar», presented in Russia by its partner, the company «Wine Discovery».
On «Wine Discovery» stand there was presented an broad assortment of «Kartuli Vazi» wines among which one could find the classical ranges, collection wines of 2000 – 2005 and experimental workings of the company winemakers. Such variety attracted a large number both of amateurs and professional tasters, and as a result the place was crowded in the course of the whole festival.
Everyone who had the opportunity to taste «Kartuli Vazi» wines noted the mixture of the classical approach and identity, distinctive features of aroma and taste, forming the own image of wines «Katruli Vazi». Especially the visitors were amazed by the collection wines with their complex and noble bouquet, powerful and rich character.
